Without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with on a mortgage, and I will do what ever I can to steer my other home bying friend away from them, as well as reduce their interest earned from me, even if it shorts other opportunities for me and my family. Awesome job Freedom Mortgage, even though I have 20 somebody months of never missing with you and 20 years of never missing with any other mortgages. So I get home from travel and get these awesome late notifications and my credit takes the punishment. ![]() So while I was on travel this happened, and even though my regularly scheduled payment arrives as always on time, they count it as missed. But this company likes to change payment amounts and even when your payment is sent in they count that as a missed payment. I travel extensively for my work and love the auto pay feature so I don't worry about missing payments. I am a 22 year veteran and a current DOD employee. I have bought and sold 8 different homes in 5 states and never had issues like I have with this company. If I could change my mortgage company as easily as you change insurance I would do it before writing this review. ![]()
